Our work was all about designing a green space in Huddersfield, We created a project named "new green".  NewGreen is a shared, public space where people in the surrounding neighborhood share the work and harvest of maintaining a garden space for growing fruits, and vegetables, New green have several benefits to the people and the environment. We started as a community where everyone is going to feel comfortable by sharing ideas and creative thoughts. We divided the topic among group members and specialized in it. We weekly meet through teams and share the updates and work for improvisation. New green help us to grow together.

LOGO PROCESS & DEVELOPMENT

We have followed some steps for designing the logo, these are

-The design brief that Understands the company’s goals for the logo

-Research like geographic location, Competitors, Latest Trends

-Brainstorming and Conceptualization, that identifying keywords related to the company and its product or service is a common practice at this point in the creative process. These words will be used to inspire possible visual representations of the product. Once ideas begin flowing onto the page in text form, visual symbols and shapes will begin to take form also.

-Draft Production, Once sufficient time has been spent on research and sketching, the draft production process begins. Digital implementation is usually executed using Adobe Illustrator, a vector-based drawing program.

The logo consists of two parts, Font and Props, We have placed a leaf and antenna on the left side of the first letter N that indicates a hidden butterfly. Also, we have placed a leaf on the top of the next letter N which indicates a hidden plant on the logo, These two props give a concept of a new beginning.

We have researched many fonts, colors, and props for the logo, and the most challenging part was choosing the font, we ended up with the font Khula. Which is an alternative font for Open San. The reason behind choosing the font Khula is its clean Appearance and good-looking nature.  Also, the font khula gives equal exposure to the font and props. We have curved the font edges for giving the logo a modern simple look and friendly appearance
